The texture of the ordinary comes to light when sudden change hinders its natural flow. Routines ritualise life to a steady pleasing order, they attempt to synchronise everyday life to the archetype of the everyday. Whether consciously or instinctively, living beings shape their activity around the rhythms of their environment and oscillate together in daily waved of action and rest. This exhibition explores the points of rupture of this equilibrium, addressing the injuries that light can provoke when shining at unnatural times.
